West Coast Starz is the highest level of skilled and committed players within the Adrenaline Starz Family and is divided into two segments: WCS Sectional and WCS-NSCLA. WCS prides itself on maintaining rosters with the absolute top players in the West that aspire to play at the collegiate level. The West Coast Starz program is the pinnacle of the Adrenaline Starz System, boasting a 90% and 99% College Placement Success Rate (CPSR) for WCS-Sectional and WCS- NSCLA teams, respectively. WCS players receive premium access to individual Adrenaline Recruiting events attended by top-level NCAA coaches, as well as benefit from traveling back east twice a year to compete in team recruiting events in order to gain additional collegiate exposure.
Three WCS-NSCLA teams (’15, ’16, ’17) will travel east this Friday for the premier Maryland Invitational tournament, the Terrapin Classic, which hosts 100+ recruiters over the course of two days. The West Coast Starz program will return to Maryland the following weekend as five Sectional teams will compete in the UpLax tournament. In preparation for the grueling recruiting process that players experience as early as ninth grade, the WCS-NSCLA MS & Youth teams will attend the LXM|ATS: Cocoa tournament where they will face the same high caliber east coast programs that the older WCS teams will play at their respective fall recruiting events.
Dates and Location:
Terrapin Classic (NSCLA): November 2nd - 3rd (Pasadena, MD)
UpLax (Sectional): November 9th - 10th (Pasadena, MD)
LXM|ATS: Cocoa (NSCLA- MS & Youth): December 14th- 15th (Cocoa, FL)
