Meet The Director
tOM WEST
Tom West is one of the most accomplished lacrosse coaches in the country. Named Director of Lacrosse and Varsity Boys’ Head Coach at The Bolles School in October 2021, West has guided the Bulldogs to three straight district titles, three state semifinal appearances, and a state final berth in 2023.
Before Bolles, West founded the Ponte Vedra High School lacrosse program in 2008 and built the Sharks into one of Florida’s elite programs — claiming a state title in 2019, a runner-up finish in 2016, eight district titles, and five regional championships. His 2019 team finished 24-1, ranked second in the South nationally, and was named the Florida Times-Union’s Team of the Decade. Fourteen players from that squad went on to play college lacrosse.
West also has deep roots in club and collegiate coaching, having founded Team Florida Lacrosse and co-founded the Florida Possums and Ponte Vedra Sand Gnats. He currently serves as Director of College Recruiting for the Florida Crabs and holds leadership roles with Epoch Lacrosse, Prospects Lacrosse Consulting, and Triple Crown Sports.
