Adrln All American 10 Year Anniversary: First 2021s Announced, 2022 Watchlist Begins

Adrenaline returns to “The Star”, the official headquarters and training center for the Dallas Cowboys, this July for the 10th annual boys western All American game. This summer also marks the 4th annual All American game on the girls side. While no year is more important than the next, talent at the highest level has become more wide spread in the West, making each roster spot that much more coveted as the years go on. With endless nominations and a plethora of NCAA bound athletes, we are proud to hit this milestone and continue the tradition of honoring the well-deserved western All American players.

“When we started this game ten years ago, our mission was to honor the achievements of the western athlete and put them on the biggest stage we could”, says Alex Cade, Adrenaline CEO.  “At the time, that was simply not happening. Fast forward ten years and I never would have imagined how far this mission has come. For the 10-year anniversary, we will celebrate the 2021 class as well as the amazing accomplishments of all the western lacrosse athletes who blazed the trail before them. We are excited to have the 2021s play on a bigger stage than ever, highlighted by the live broadcast on ESPN3.  Every year we invest more in this event to make it special for these deserving players and the western game as a whole. I think everyone will be excited about what the 2021 All American Game has to offer.”

The Adrenaline All-American Game was started in 2011 to recognize and pay tribute to the growth of the game and the unwavering talent of western players. Over the ten year history of the Adrln All American game, several notable male alums who have worn the custom red, white and blue uniform and represented the west honorably include: Professionals: Eddy Glazener (Notre Dame/ PLL Redwoods), Max Tuttle (Sacred Heart/ PLL Whipsnakes), Hugh Crance (Notre Dame/ PLL Redwoods), Ryland Rees ( Stony Brook/PLL Waterdogs), Cade Van Raaphorst (Duke/ PLL Atlas), Challen Rogers (Stony Brook/Cannons MLL), Charlie Ford (St. Ignatius/ Cannons MLL), Mikie Schlosser (Michigan/Outlaws MLL), Ryder Garnsey ( Notre Dame/PLL Redwoods), Sean Mayle (Denver/Bayhawks MLL), Ben Spencer (UMass/Cannons MLL), Jake Seau (Duke/ Rattlers MLL), Kevin Kodzis (Holy Cross/Bayhawks MLL); College Standouts: Justin Anderson (UNC), Asher Nolting (High Point), Bubba Fairman (Maryland), Anthony Demaio (Maryland), Nakaie Montgomery (Duke), Sam Handley (UPenn), Alex Slusher (Princeton- USA U19) and Graham Bundy Jr (Georgetown- USA U19), to name a few. These boys have represented every part of the western lacrosse movement and have been the flag-waving ambassadors for our next generation of Adrln AA athletes to emulate and aspire to be in their own lacrosse careers (and in life).

While the girls are six years behind the boys in terms of growth of the game and depth of talent in non traditional areas, their highly touted future enrollments prove they’ve hit the ground running and there is no looking back. As more pipelines to western players continue to form on the NCAA side, coaches understand that getting eyes on the West is an integral part in forming a high powered program. Some notable alums from the previous years include Megan Carney (Syracuse, UA All American, Ranked #9 in recruiting class by IL, USA U19 Team Member), Brianne Gross (Vanderbilt, US Lacrosse Jackie Pitts Award/All American, USA U19 Team Member), Rachel Hall (Boston College, Led the nation in saves as a freshman at Oregon, Pac 12 freshman of the year, UA All American, USA U19 Team Member), Chloe Hunter (UPenn, UA All American), and Camdyn O’Donnell (SDSU).
