Adrenaline is proud to announce a streaming deal with ESPN, for the 2020 Adrenaline All American Games. In a high school senior send-off game more meaningful than ever, the Adrenaline All American Games will bring together the top boys and girls players from across the western U.S. for the annual Best in the West lacrosse event. This summer marks the 10th anniversary of the boys All American game, which was created to give western players a fair shot at the national spotlight and to offer thanks for what they have done to grow the game. In its 3rd year, the girls All American game has quickly become an equal platform for western female athletes to establish their legacy. The games will take place at the famed Ford Center at The Star, the official practice facility of the Dallas Cowboys, in Frisco, Texas.
“When these senior athletes had their spring seasons cut short by the current health crisis, it became more important than ever for Adrenaline to recognize these players and send them off in the best way possible,” says Alex Cade, CEO of Adrenaline. “We are thrilled that the timing of our collaboration with ESPN allows us to magnify their great accomplishments and provide these players with the most memorable closure possible to their high school careers. We are so proud of all of these great western players and I can’t wait to see them on the biggest sports network in the world.”
Adrenaline advocates for the players and programs that continually push the envelope in our sport, which is why we work with premier companies like ESPN that support and elevate our mission. This event reached 1 Million+ aggregate views the past two years and will surely surpass expectations this coming summer. Adrenaline has carefully assembled an elite media team to align with ESPN’s level of professionalism. The boys game will be led by Ryan Powell who is an analyst for the ACC Network Extra and has established himself as a live stream connoisseur for the Syracuse Orange. Ryan lived in Oregon for many years and helped grow the western game. He will be accompanied by Johnathon Hoppe, a commentator for ACC Network Extra. Adrenaline Recruiting Director, Jono Zissi, will also be in the press box providing color. He undoubtedly knows every male player west of the Mississippi and is a big reason why most western players have found homes at the next level. The commentator team on the girls’ side is equally as strong, featuring Devan Kaney, Host & Senior Producer for the NLL and Sideline Reporter for the Philadelphia Wings. She will be accompanied by Amanda Mastera, Director of Media & PR for World Lacrosse and Sideline Reporter & Color Analyst for Lacrosse Talk Radio. The Ford Center production team will work seamlessly with Nextpro and Adrenaline on site to provide the highest quality NFL-grade stream so ESPN can bring the game right to your home.
The Adrenaline Evaluation Team (AET) was formed to track western standouts throughout their recruiting journey. In 2010, the AET hand selected the top 60 senior boys to compete in the inaugural western All American Game, finally bringing to light the level of recognition these players so deservedly earned. With countless notable alumsearning NCAA All American honors at the highest level, extending their careers into the pro league, and/or earning their stars and stripes on TEAM USA, the standards for being named a western Adrenaline All American are exceptional. Recent AAA alumni that have made a huge impact at the collegiate level include Cade Van Raaphorst (Duke), Dylan Johnson (Denver), Isaiah Dawson (Harvard), Bubba Fairman (Maryland), Asher Nolting (High Point), Evan Egan (UNC), Nakeie Montgomery (Duke), Anthony Demaio (Maryland), Justin Anderson (UNC), Tucker Dordevic (Syracuse), Alex Slusher (Princeton), and Graham Bundy (Georgetown). Each year brings a new set of talent that exceeds expectations. This year players will hail from 10 different states, including CA, CO, MN, MO, NV, OH, OR, TX, UT and WA. There is a mix of athletes from western hotbeds like NorCal, SoCal, Dallas, and Denver, as well as athletes from smaller towns with a hunger to represent their region and put it on the map. Their reputations will proceed them, inspiring younger players from their areas to strive to play at the next level and be recognized for their hard work.
