The weekend kicked off late Friday afternoon with two concurrent Prospect clinics, one led by top NCAA mens coaches, the other by top NCAA womens coaches. Elite boys and girls players from all over SoCal and beyond spent the evening learning and interacting with the college coaches via clinics and scrimmages. The college coaches continued their search the following day, watching players they worked with at the clinics and seeing how they adjusted to a team setting, as well as scouted players who came just for the team tournament.
America’s Finest Rivalry was one of several Adrenaline events where middle school and youth teams could earn points towards qualifying for the US Youth Nationals tournament taking place this August! By partnering with US lacrosse, these US Qualifier events out west give western programs the opportunity to qualify for the top youth tournament of the year without having to travel far away to earn points. The goal is to bring together the top middle school/youth programs from ALL over the country to one location.
Thanks to all the players, families, coaches and directors who came out for a great weekend of lacrosse. Check out the event album from the weekend! #SDProspect18 #AFR18
