Islanders Winter Beginner Sessions

Green Field – on 7th St behind Village Elementary School
The Islanders Beginner Sessions are the perfect way to get your player tuned up for the spring or introduced to lacrosse and the Islanders program. Run by the same highly qualified Islanders spring coaches your player will have fun while learning the sport of lacrosse. Limited sets of equipment are available to borrow for the beginner sessions. These will be available on site day one so no need to go out and purchase anything.

- 10+ games (San Diego Pee Wee Lacrosse League and San Diego County Lacrosse Association according to grade)
- 28-56 Practices @ Coronado High School, Middle School, Silver Strand, District Office Field.
- Games
- K-2nd: 3-5 Saturday jamborees with 2 games per jamboree. Within 30 minutes or on Coronado.
- 3rd-6th: Saturday games w the occasional weekday game possible
- 7th-8th: Saturday games w the occasional weekday game possible

About the Coronado Islanders
The Coronado Islanders Youth Program is the community run feeder system for the Coronado High School Lacrosse Program. This program is run through the Coronado community by a group of dedicated volunteer parents, Coronado High School and other knowledgeable coaches, and the High School booster program. This not for profit model keeps costs low providing a tremendous value for families and a high-quality experience for the players.
