Eleven Clubs Crowned Champions At Park City Showdown
Lacrosse EventsEventsTournaments
Adrenaline capped off the month of June at 7,000 feet elevation alongside 74 boys and girls teams in the beautiful mountains of Park City, Utah. Boys teams competed for six division championships- 2022, 2023, 2024, 2025/26, HS, Elite- while the girls competed for the same titles with the exception of the youngest division. This year marked the second annual Park City tournament with growth at every age group from the previous year. A short flight or driving distance from the PNW, SoCal, and surrounding mountain states, Park City proves a convenient location for the blooming western hotbeds to come together for a competitive weekend of lacrosse!
New to the event this year was the ability for youth teams to earn points towards the USL Nationals tournament back east in August, which aims to bring together the top boys and girls club teams from all over the country. For more info on the standings, click here.
The growth in talent and numbers out West is apparent given 6 different boys club programs and 5 different girls club programs took home a division title. The boys championship teams represented Utah (Utah LC, Oneida, Krusty Krabs), Washington (CitySide), Colorado (DoCo) and California (ADVNC). The girls winning programs also represented four different states, including Colorado (Denver Summit, NOCO Select), California (West Coast Starz), Washington (Vand’al) and Oregon (NW Rippers). See what teams claimed divisions titles here!
Getting to the championship games was no easy feat. Every team played four set games and based on rankings, #1 and #2 in each division played a fifth game for a title. Twelve teams went undefeated in their first four games, with several teams experiencing their first loss in the finals: True CO 23, Utah LC 2022, Hill Country Jammers and 3D Oregon Girls 2024. West Coast Starz 2023 girls was only team that did not go undefeated in their first four games and upset an undefeated 3D Colorado girls team that they lost to in Day One. Congrats to all teams on an amazing weekend of competitive games. All scores from the weekend can be found on Tourney Machine here!
