I am from Council Bluffs, Iowa, and am the oldest of two. My dad raised me to be a huge sports fan, and I inherited his love for the Chicago Cubs and the heartbreak that comes with it.  I have never played lacrosse as it was basically nonexistent in the Midwest when I was growing up, so my sport of choice was swimming. Upon high school graduation, I journeyed to the other side of Iowa and attended the University of Northern Iowa. I graduated from UNI with a bachelors in Leisure, Youth and Human Services and then a masters in Sports Administration. I have always been proud to be a Midwest girl, but I knew I wanted to experience more of the country. So, I accepted an internship at the Olympic Training Center in Chula Vista, California, a little over two years ago. I fell in love with San Diego and decided to stay here after my internship and became a kayak tour guide to pass the time.  I had the amazing fortune to land a job at Adrenaline at the beginning of this year and couldn’t be more excited. I can’t wait for so many new opportunities and to work with so many awesome people!

If you could travel anywhere in the world where would it be and why?

If I could travel anywhere in the world I would go to Italy. It is somewhere I have always wanted to go since I was little. I am a foodie and obsessed with history, so I think it would be the perfect destination for me!
