Triple Digit Teams Converge In Santa Barbara To Kick Off Fall/Winter Season

With 75-degree weather and clear skies, waking up in sunny Santa Barbara is the perfect location to set up shop for a lacrosse filled weekend. Nestled between the mountains and the ocean, the Santa Barbara Polo & Racquet club is undoubtedly one of the prettiest venues to host a 110+ team tournament. The Santa Barbara Showdown will showcase boys and girls teams from 48 different club programs for two days’ worth of championship style play.
Seventeen champions will be crowned on Sunday, ten of which will be girls teams. Each team will compete in three pool play games on Saturday to determine the rankings for playoffs the following day. The full schedule can be found on Tourney Machine here.

Hosting tournaments in destination locations affords families the opportunity to enjoy a vacation outside of game play. From visiting one of the most coveted surf spots on the west coast, Rincon, to enjoying a fresh seafood dinner on the pier during sunset, this coastal city gem is nothing short of spectacular.
